PDWP approves 10 welfare schemes worth Rs 9.646 billion

The Provincial Development Working Party Punjab approved ten development schemes of various development Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 9.646 billion including Expansion of Family Welfare Centers and Revival of Community Based Family Planning Workers at the cost of Rs 3779.219 million on Friday.
These schemes were approved in the 30th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2014-15 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi, Provincial Secretary P&D Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry, members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
1. Delivery of Better Extension Services to Accelerate Fish Culture Practices at the cost of Rs 397.646 million,
1. Feasibility Studies for Establishment of Aquaculture Processing Zone under PPP Mode (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 30.200 million.
2. Management of Hill Torrent in CRBC Area (Stage-III) D.G. Khan (2nd Revised) at the cost of Rs 2412.176 million
3. Establishment of SCADA System at Tubewells/Lift Stations for WASA Lahore at the cost of Rs 697.200 million.
4. Expansion of Family Welfare Centers and Revival of Community Based Family Planning Workers at the cost of Rs 3779.219 million
5. Establishment of 300 Bedded Hospital at Shahdara Lahore (Phase-I & II) at the cost of Rs 1123.306 million
6. Construction of Flyover (Complete Signal-Free Interchange) at Aziz Cross on G.T. Road, Gujranwala (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 117.929 million,
7. Widening / Improvement of Jand Tarap Road Tehsil Jand, District Attock, length=45.00 Km at the cost of Rs 624.719 million,
8. Widening / Improvement of Circular Road around Katchery Compounds - TMA Chowk to Ayub Chowk via Rail Bazar Chowk, Kot Road, length=7.52 km, Jhang at the cost of Rs 239.874 million and
9. Construction of Kot Chutta Byepass length =7.00 km, D.G. Khan at the cost of Rs 223.985 million.
