12 Afghans held in Southern Punjab

Police have launched a crackdown on the Afghan nationals and unauthorised immigrants in South Punjab. Rahim Yar Khan Police have rounded up six Afghans from a rural area of Sultanpur. DPO Rahimyar Khan Suhail Zafar Chattha said "we have taken six Afghan nationals in our custody from Chak No 75/B and Sultanpur under Foreign Act and we have seized Afghan currency too." Similarly, another six were arrested in Karor Lal-Eisan in Layyah District. DPO Layyah also confirmed their arrest.
