Nespak begins focusing on overseas operations: various MoUs signed

National Engineering Services Pakistan (Nespak) Private Limited according to its new policy has started focusing on enhancing its overseas operations especially in Dubai and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Recently, various MoUs have been signed with Dubai based local consultants to undertake joint projects in various fields of Engineering.
This is in addition to the efforts being made to acquire projects by Nespak (UK) Limited in association with European consultants. MD Nespak Amjad A Khan is taking keen interest to provide services overseas of the standards and quality matching with world renowned consultants. According to Nespak spokesperson, Nespak has won two projects in Saudi Arabia in the field of water resources development sector ie, dams and water transmission lines in Aseer, Jazan and Najran regions. Work has been started on both the projects. Proposals are also being submitted for projects in Dubai in association with M/s Al Burj Consultants of Dubai.
In UK, Nespak after being registered as Nespak (UK) Limited is hoping to make breakthrough, where negotiations are underway with UK based consultants for undertaking projects jointly in the Middle East and Africa. Various MoUs have also been signed with Chinese consultants to undertake projects in the fields of Railways and Water Resources. Joint proposals are being submitted in collaboration with Chinese consultants in the fields of agriculture and water resources.
It is worth mentioning that Nespak has its offices in UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Afghanistan and it has undertaken projects in almost 25 countries to the entire satisfaction of the clients. The securing of overseas projects shows Nespak's capability of operating internationally and remaining consistent with its policy of expanding business overseas. Good management practices and high technical expertise have made Nespak the only government owned enterprise showing remarkable performance both within the country and overseas.
