Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan is trying to befool the people on the issue of alleged rigging in 2013 general elections. The Minister said this while talking to media on Wednesday outside the Parliament House. He claimed that the PTI Chief is creating hurdles in implementation the national agenda against terrorism.
He said, "We had asked Imran Khan to identify the word 'bogus' in the audit report of NA-122 constituency and also conduct a forensic test of the ballot papers, which he claimed have been printed by the private presses. He said that Imran Khan did not respond to any of the two offers, which implied that he is doing the politics of lies. He said that due to a negative approach in politics, Imran Khan today (Wednesday) had to face 'Go Imran Go' slogans when he visited Army Public School Peshawar.
He said the PTI Chief is in fact creating hurdles in implementing the national agenda on elimination of terrorism. He said that Khan's politics is based on dishonesty, adding that he is guiding the nation astray. He said Imran should have thought about sharing the grief of bereaved parents.
