Ongoing petrol crisis in Punjab artificially created: MNAs

Pakistan Peoples Party MNAs Mir Ejaz Jakhrani, Imran Zafar Leghari and Sardar Rafique Ahmed Jamali said the ongoing petrol crisis in Punjab was artificially created. Federal government kept on watching the inefficiency of Federal Minister for Petroleum until the media took notice of the dire situation across Punjab and started live telecast on suffering of the people.
The PPP MNAs said that subsequent to escalating unrest, the Prime Minister while taking immediate notice of the grave situation ordered for the suspension of Secretary Petroleum Abid Saeed, Additional Secretary Naeem Malik, Director General Oil Muhammad Azam and Pakistan State Oil Managing Director Amjad Janjua. They said there was no secret about the artificial crisis of petrol in Punjab as all knew that the Federal Minister for Petroleum was striving to promote business of his son at the cost of PSO like Pakistan International Airlines Corporation was ruined after which a private airlines was emerged.
The PPP MNAs demanded the Prime Minister to immediately sack the Federal Minister for Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and take coercive matters for saving the PSO and also order the Ministry of Finance for release of payments against outstanding dues.
