PSP stages demonstration against petrol crisis

Pakistan Saraiki Party (PSP) staged a demonstration at Chowk Nawan Shehr under the leadership of Haji Ahmed Nawaz Somroo and Javed Channer advocate against petrol crisis as long queues were witnessed at the petrol pumps on Monday while a number of petrol pumps remained closed due to suspension of oil supply. United Citizens Front also staged a demonstration at Chungi No 9. Saraiki Party activists said that people of southern Punjab are already facing the acute shortage of gas, long duration of power load shedding and now petroleum crisis has added to their miseries.
They said that government has failed to redress the grievances of the masses. Malik Javed Channer said that PM should terminate the services of Managing Director of PSO, Minister for Petroleum, Federal Secretary Petroleum and other responsible persons. The shortage of petrol has also affected emergency healthcare services and public transporters.
