Two food outlets fined

Punjab Food Authority (PFA) carried out its regular surprise inspections of different food outlets in the provincial metropolis on Monday and fined two of them over using substandard oil and improper cleanliness. According to details, Food Safety Officer of Gulberg Town fined Lahori Chatkhara over dirty freezer and using substandard edible oil.
The PFA team also wasted the whole substandard oil. Similarly, Shalimar Town field team fined Fayyaz Sweets situated on Bhogiwal Road on the charges of unhygienic conditions and ordered the owner to bring improvements in cleanliness measures.
