Petrol crisis speaks of bad governance, ineptness: JI

Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Liaqat Baloch has said that petroleum crisis unveiled the reality of the tall claims of the good governance and experience of the federal government. Expressing the stance of his political party on prevailing petrol crisis, he asked the prime minister to answer the nation on the issue. He said that if Secretary, Additional Secretary and Director General (DG) Pakistan State Oil (PSO) were responsible then what were the members of cabinet, economic committee and experts of government were doing?
The JI secretary general said that the petrol crisis has badly affected two-third of the population and national economy, but the prime minister and his cabinet awaken very late. He said that the cause of the crisis is not increase in the demand of petrol, but indiscipline, in-competency and indifferent attitude of the government.
