Forex reserves fall by $34 million

The country's foreign exchange reserves stood at $15.019 billion up to January 16, said the central bank Thursday. During the week under review, the State Banks reserves decreased by $34 million to $10.331 billion compared to $10.365 billion last week.
The SBP said to have made payments of $ 57 million on account of external debt servicing and other official payments. "No major inflow was recorded during the week under review," the central bank said. Forex reserves held by commercial banks stood at $ 4.68 billion.
