Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that sacrifices made by Pakistan in the war against terrorism are unprecedented in the world history. He said that more than 50,000 Pakistanis have been martyred in the war against terrorism. He said that those who have laid down their lives in the war against terrorism are national heroes.
He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Pakistan Muslim League-N, here on Thursday. The CM said that the brutal elements showed worst kind of savagery by killing innocent children in Peshawar. He said that terrorists have no religion. He said that progress and prosperity of the country is linked with peace as it is essential for investment, development of economy and creation of job opportunities. He said that time has come to wipe out enemies of peace from the country.
He said that implementation of national action plan against terrorism is yielding encouraging results. The CM further said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and national leadership have taken bold decisions to eliminate terrorists.
