Rail track blown up near Quetta

Unidentified extremists blew up the railways track with explosive material at 13-mile area near Quetta on Friday morning. According to details, a portion of the track was blown up but there was no loss of life. Police said explosive material installed at the railways track was blown up when Jaffar Express was passing through the area. The blast damaged the oil tank of the train and about three thousand litres of diesel was lost due to leakage.
Divisional Superintendent Railways visited the affected site. Talking to media persons, he said about one foot of track was damaged.
