Chief Secretary Sindh Sajjad Saleem Hotiana has asked the Administrative Secretaries, Commissioners and other heads of the departments to ensure insertion of the special quota for women, special persons and minorities in the body of advertisements of vacancies otherwise, they would be held responsible, said a statement issued here on Friday.
He expressed these view while addressing a meeting to review the progress of the resolution of the minorities' issues, attended by the Secretaries of Law, implementation, minorities, senior polices officers and commissioner of all divisions of Sindh, including MNA Dr Ramesh Kumar.
The meeting reviewed the implementation status of order of the Supreme Court of Pakistan for certain issues pertaining to the Departments' of Education, Home Minorities and Sindh Police. All concerned officers elucidated the progress regarding appropriate curricula development at School / college levels, special police force for protecting worship places for minorities, violation of any of the rights guaranteed under the law and minorities quota in employment. The Chief Secretary has called comprehensive reports from the concerned secretaries, to this effect, within 15 days. He also asked to ensure implementation of the orders/ decisions of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
