The rupee depicted no change in relation to the dollar on the local market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealers said. The rupee held the overnight levels against the dollar for buying and selling at Rs 101.60 and Rs 101.80 respectively. It shed 20-paisa in terms of the euro for buying and selling at Rs 114.20 and Rs 114.45, they said.
The euro lost over 2 percent against the greenback and fell below $1.12 to $1.1115 for the first time since September 2003 after the ECB unveiled a bond-buying program. The euro also hit a 16-month trough against the yen at 130.91 yen on Friday.

According to the currency dealers, the dollar was opened on a healthy note and kept on rising following buyers' interest. At close of trading, the dollar was ended higher at Rs 101.60 and Rs 101.85 on buying and selling side against Rs 101.50 and Rs 101.75 of Friday, respectively, the dealers said.
However, the Pak rupee-pound sterling parity remained unchanged amid dull trading activity. The pound was traded at its overnight closing of Rs 152.00 and Rs 152.25 on buying and selling counter, respectively, they added.
The dollar opened at Rs 100.75 (buying) and Rs 101 (selling) against last rate of Rs 101 (buying) and Rs 101.25 (selling). It did not observe further change in the second session and closed at Rs 100.75 (buying) and Rs 101 (selling).
Pound Sterling opened at Rs 152 (buying) and Rs 153 (selling) against same overnight value. It did not observe further change in the evening session and closed at Rs 152 (buying) and Rs 153 (selling).
