South Korean buys 110,000 tonnes of corn

The Korea Feed Association (KFA) purchased 110,000 tonnes of corn which can be sourced optionally from the United States, South America or east Europe in a tender which closed on Friday, European traders said on Monday. Some 50,000 tonnes was purchased by the KFA's Busan section at $207.60 a tonne c&f for July 10 arrival plus a $1.00 a tonne surcharge for additional port unloading, traders said.
Another 60,000 tonnes was purchased by KFA Busan at $208.89 a tonne c&f for July 30 arrival plus a $1.50 a tonne surcharge for additional port unloading, traders said.
