Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar has announced results of MBBS Third Professional Annual Examinations 2014 here on Wednesdday, in which total 1,526 students of 13 public and private sector medical colleges of the province were appeared and 959 declared successful. The overall passing ratio was 63 percent.
According to a notification issued by KMU examination section Affaf Gul of Khyber Medical College (KMC) secured 683 marks and stood first in the overall result, however Tujza Tahir and Hiffsa Sohail Taj of KMC secured 667 and 657 marks and got second and third positions respectively.
The passing ratio of KMC Peshawar was 76 percent, Bacha Khan Medical College, Mardan was 71 percent, Ayub Medical College Abbottabad was 71 percent, Khyber Girls Medical College Peshawar was 70 percent, Saidu Medical College Swat was 67 percent, KMU-Institute of Medical Sciences Kohat was 65 percent, Bannu Medical College Bannu was 63 percent, Rahman Medical College Hayatabad, Peshawar was 63 percent, Women Medical College Abbotabad was 61 percent, Gomal Medical College D I Khan was 59 percent, Pak International Medical College Hayatabad, Peshawar was 43 percent, Jinnah Medical College, Peshawar was 38 percent and Abbotabad International Medical College Abbotabad was 33 percent.
