At least four persons including women and children were killed and another injured as oil tanker knocked down rickshaw here on Wednesday. Police said that the accident took place at Vehari Road in Hasilpur where an over speeding oil tanker rammed into an auto-rickshaw. Four people including two women and two children died in the accident while rickshaw driver sustained critical wounds.
The oil tanker driver responsible for the accident managed to flee from the scene. The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital medico-legal formalities.
