The scheduled meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) parliamentary board to finalise the party's candidates for the upcoming Senate elections was postponed and now it will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. According to PML-N media office, the meeting has been convened on Wednesday and Thursday instead of Tuesday at the party's central secretariat to interview the applicants.
On Wednesday, the board will interview the applicants for the party tickets from Punjab province. While Thursday has been fixed for interviewing the applicants from other provinces including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan and Federal Capital, said the PML-N media office. Chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar as its convenor, Raja Zafar ul Haq, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Pervaiz Rashid, Kh Saad Rafique, Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, Shehbaz Sharif, Pir Sabir Shah, Ismail Rahu, Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, Sardar Yakoob Khan Nasir, Dr Asif Kirmani and Mrs Nuzhat Sadiq have been appointed as members of the parliamentary board.
