US Consul General Brian Heath inaugurated the first Cold Stone Creamery Café in Karachi. Consulate officials and senior management of Cold Stone Creamery Pakistan attended the ceremony. The café is located on the rooftop of The Place, Phase 8, DHA. "I am happy to report that two-way trade between Pakistan and the United States was more than $5 billion in 2012 and the US is Pakistan's largest export market," said Heath. "But our trade relations can grow still further. That is why I am happy to see Cold Stone Creamery Café and other US businesses setting up shop in Karachi."
One of the US mission's objectives is to help Pakistan's expanding community of talented entrepreneurs create jobs, spur economic growth, and unlock the potential of the Pakistani market, said Heath. "A sustainable future for Pakistan will require significant participation of the private sector and significant reforms on the part of the government to enable the private sector to flourish."
Speaking at the launch, CEO and President of Venus Pakistan Pvt Ltd Adnan Asad said: "For the Pakistani consumer, the Cold Stone Creamery experience is about not just best-in-class ice cream products but also premium services that enable customers to create and participate in their own personal ice cream experience." Cold Stone Creamery ice cream - made fresh daily - is available in 21 flavours, said Asad.-PR
