The supreme commander of Kashmiri Hizbul Mujahideen, Syed Salahuddin, has made it clear that those who targeted mosques, schools, Imambargahs, children and women were the open enemy of Pakistan and Islam, adding that the Modi led government in India wants to eliminate the Islamic identity of Kashmiris.
He stated this while addressing a Press conference at the Idara-e-Noor Haq here on Friday. JI Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, Deputy Supreme Commander Javed Kasuri, Naib Ameers of Karachi JI Birjees Ahmed, Osama Razi, Abdur Razzaq and Secretary Information Zahid Askari were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the press conference, Syed Salahuddin categorically said the policies of former military dictator General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf had badly affected the Kashmir cause and his U-turn on the Kashmir policy damaged the struggle of Kashmiris badly. On the occasion, Supreme Commander of Hizbul Mujahideen Syed Salahuddin demanded of the army leadership and present rulers to raise their voice for the right of self-determination for the Kashmiri people at international platforms.
"If the Kashmir issue would not to be resolved as per the resolutions of United Nations (UN) and desires of Kashmiris, then the entire continent would face the dire consequences," he feared. He said that the India was not ready to admit Kashmir as "disputed territory" and claimed it an unbreakable part of India which is a sheer violence of the UN resolutions. He made it clear that the struggle of Kashmiris will continue till the withdrawal of 800,000 Indian troops from the Indian-occupied Kashmir, as the people of Kashmir were struggling for their right to self-determination.
"We are not against the dialogues, but the epicenter of talks should only cover the Kashmir issue, otherwise the discussion would prove worthless," he added. Syed Salahuddin said that the Indian involvement was being increased in Balochistan and Waziristan providing arms and ammunition to activists of Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
He claimed that India and anti-state elements were involved in bomb blasts in Pakistan, adding the Mujahideen are not involved in carrying out any terrorist activities in Pakistan. He strongly condemned the attacks on schools and mosques in Pakistan and adding that the Jihad not teaches us to target innocent people including children, women and elderly people.-PR
