Three Lyari gangsters killed in 'encounter'

The police claimed on Sunday to have killed three alleged gangsters of Lyari in an encounter that took place in Mowach Goth area of the metropolis and recovered weapons from their possession.
According to details, SHO Chaudhry Muhammad Saleem along with a police party conducted a targeted action in Mowach Goth after receiving secret information about the presence of Lyari gangsters in the area. Seeing police, gangsters opened fire on police party. The police also retaliated in which two gangsters were killed.
The killed suspects were identified as Zubair and Akbar. They were linked to Sheeraz Comrade Group.
Police claimed that the accused were involved in the murder of two CID police constables-Khurram Shahzad and Muhammad Sohail-on 2012. Both police personnel were kidnapped and later killed.
The accused were also involved in the murders of a boy and a girl in Mowach Goth. They were also involved in the murder of five international boxers and a hair cutter Shahbaz.
Police party recovered one Kalashnikov, a 7mm rifle, an 8mm rifle, two repeaters, four pistols and lots of live rounds from them.
In another encounter conducted by SHO Kalri Abdul Hameed, an accused Touseef was killed. He was allegedly involved in attack on RRF staff and SHO Baghdadi as a result RRF's four soldiers were critically injured. The accused was involved in target killing, extortion, kidnapping and others serious cases, police said.
The Kalri police also arrested alleged killer of Head Master, Abdullah Haroon School, Abdul Aziz.
