Most of us have fond memories of food from our childhood, from mom's home-made meals to birthday cake. It is the most pleasurable moments of life when you eat with your friends or family you really enjoy your life while doing so. And if you get a chance to live those pleasurable moments again you definitely will avail the opportunity.
The Frere Hall one of the beautiful buildings in the city of lights transformed into a food lover's paradise recently. This change was brought by Karachi Eat Food Festival that was organised there to the joys of fun and food loving Karachiites. From innovative gourmet chefs to our street vendor's delights you can have anything you crave for.
You can choose from succulent parmesan chicken to scrumptious bun kababs and gol gappas. To satisfy your sweet tooth there were choux pastries, gourmet chocolate shakes, brownies and cupcakes and also ice-creams of many different flavours like pakola, masala, doodh patti, ice dreams other than traditional flavours of chocolate and vanilla.
To delight of people their favourite restaurants where they prefer to dine in has offered the discounted prices but in slightly smaller helpings so that everyone could try little bit of everything. People were enjoying a bowl of noodles to kabab rolls and chapli kebab while others took delight in having soup, pasta, chicken wings and special burger with French fries. Fish and chips attracted many to munch on along with cheese sandwiches, lemonade or coffee, tea and cold drink. The most crowd pleasing stall was of chapli kebab which offered the most delicious chapli kebabs with naan having almost same taste and texture that KP chapli kebabs has.
The menu of different stalls offered regular and creative dishes that focus on taste as well as quality ingredients. The three-day festival offered the full diversity of food that the city of lights has to offer. There was variety of different participants including top restaurants, corporate giants, celebrity chefs as well as home bakers.
Each item was prepared not only to tease the taste buds of the people but also give wholesome nutritional value to the food they eat by using quality products. The festival gave opportunity to people to enjoy delicious food with friends and family in a relaxing environment other than shortage of chairs and tables and the stalls were installed very close to each other, some people find difficulty in parking area.
