Shahid Afridi, Salman Khan join forces for noble cause

Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi met Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in Toronto on Monday, and both the stars availed the opportunity to promote each other’s charity work.

Afridi reportedly attended Khan's event on his request, who is currently his ‘Da-bangg Tour’ to raise funds for his charity work. Khan has been holding events for the promotion of his organization ‘Hope Uplift’.

On the other hand, the cricketer is there to play global T20 league and to raise funds for his charity organisation ‘Hope Not Out’. Afirdi and Salman met backstage and were seen sharing light moments together.

Afridi took the stage to send best wishes to Khan for his charity work and also spoke about his charity organisation 'Hope Not Out'. He invited the stars and participants to attend its events.

Sharing his experience of meeting Salman Khan, Afridi also tweeted,

Khan and his bunch of people from the Da-Bangg tour have been hopping from one destination to another in US and Canada to entertain people. From Los Angeles to Toronto, the team has presented some really cool gigs, which left the audience deeply satisfied.

Bollywood stars including Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Daisy Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez also performed during many events organised as part of Da-Bangg tour.
