An upward trend was witnessed on the local grain market on Saturday in the process of thin business, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Sindh gained sharply Rs 875 to Rs 11750 and Moong Afghani followed same pattern, picking up Rs 2125 to Rs 12250, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said. On the rice sector, irri-6 Sindh also rose by Rs 25 to Rs 2725 and Rs 2800 due to increase in demand, they said. On the grams and seeds fronts, prices managed to hold the last levels, they added.
