26 Feb, 2015

On the directions of Chairman NAB Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is aggressively pursuing "Awareness and Prevention" campaign throughout the country to curb corruption as NAB has been mandated under section 33C of National Accountability Ordinance (NAO) 1999 to educate and advise public authorities, holders of public office and the community at large on measures to combat corruption and corrupt practices.
On the directions of Chairman NAB, Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, NAB has proposed to Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco), Faisalabad Electric Supply Corporation (Fesco) and Gujranwala Electric Supply Company (Gepco) to print NAB message "SAY NO TO CORRUPTION" on all the utility bills as utility bills are the best source to convey/spread the anti-corruption message of NAB amongst millions of consumers of Lesco, Fesco and Gepco across the country.
The Lesco, Fesco and Gepco have assured NAB to print its message "SAY NO TO CORRUPTION" after approval of the competent authority on all the utility bills, supporting the cause of creating awareness against the ill effects of corruption amongst the masses to join hands with NAB against corruption and corrupt practices.-PR
