On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX) value traded was PKR 2.611 billion as compared to value of PKR 2.326 billion posted a day earlier. The number of lots traded was 17,718 and PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,557. Major business was contributed by crude oil amounting to PKR 1.788 billion. This was followed by gold (PKR 725 million), silver (PKR 97 million) and ICOTTON (PKR 1.341 million).
