Technical and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) will offer 45 demand driven courses in its 2nd phase of short courses. These courses will be offered to male and female youth at selected TEVTA Institutes across the province of the Punjab. These short courses are being offered on the recommendations of relevant industry. Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh was addressing the meeting of Zonal and District Managers here yesterday at TEVTA Secretariat.
Chief Operating Officer TEVTA Jawad Ahmed Qureshi, General Managers Hamid Ghani Anjum, Abdul Qayyum, Azhar Iqbal Shad, Akhter Abbass Bharwana and other senior TEVTA officers were also present on this occasion. Irfan Qaiser Shaikh while addressing the conference said that 31 new short courses out of 45 are being proposed to launch in 2nd phase which includedFashion Designing, Laundry Man, Machine Embroidery, Basic House Keeping, Tablet Manufacturing Machine Operator, Capsule Manufacturing Machine Operator, Generator Repair Mechanic, Waiter, Electronically Controlled Engine Diagnostic and Tune-up, Rice Milling Plant operator, Tunnel Farming, Plumber Solar water heating installation & Maintenance, Steel Fixer, Domestic Tailoring Male, Civil Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, Welding, Machinist, Building Painter, Shuttering Carpenter, Adda Work, Auto Mechanic, Handy Man, Spoken Arabic, UPS Repair Mechanic, Confectionary Bakery & Sweets, Call Centre, Injection Moulding Machine Operator, Customer Sales Officers, Customer Services Officers and Solar Panels.
