Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain said on Wednesday that a network of small dams should be constructed countrywide to overcome water scarcity. Speaking to members of MQM Rabita Committee (RC), Altaf Hussain said no one talks about the construction of small dams in the country however protest and strife is conducted over the issue of Kala Bagh Dam.
Altaf Hussain questioned why democratic governments are afraid of local body system. Highlighting issues of the country, MQM Chief said health facilities in the country have became extinct, education ineffective while buses and wagons have become a mobile bomb because of gas cylinders. He said government isn't taking any action against the usage of trashy gas cylinders. Altaf Hussain asked government to announce free education to its citizens till grade 10.
