The National Transmission and Distribution Company Limited have completed the reconstruction of 220-kilowatt KAPCO-Multan transmission line to start 820-megaweatt power dispersal from the Kot Addu Power Company to a 500-kilowatt grid Station Multan on Friday.
"The transmission line resumption will reduce forced power-cuts while improving the voltage profile in Multan and Faisalabad," said an NTDC spokesman. The company engineers faced difficulties to shift material and heavy machinery to the site during the reconstruction.
