Chief ministers of Punjab, Sindh discuss situation

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here on Friday and discussed matters of mutual interests and the political situation of the country. Both leaders expressed determination to further strengthen bilateral relations between the provinces. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah congratulated Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on splendid holding of horse and cattle show.
Speaking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is comprised of four units, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and all units of the country are marching forward with harmony and unity to solve the problems being faced by the country. He said that with the holding of horse and cattle show, the culture of Punjab was being highlighted besides promoting national solidarity and brotherhood. He welcomed the Sindh Chief Minister in the horse and cattle show and said that it will increase inter-provincial contacts and harmony.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that all the four provinces and the federal government were marching forward with complete harmony in the war against terrorism. He said that decisions were taken with collective wisdom and joint efforts will bear fruits and expressed the hope that Pakistan will become a haven of peace. He said that Pakistan was all of us and we will have to jointly rid it of difficulties.
Shahbaz Sharif hosted a luncheon in honour of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah. Earlier, when the Chief Minister of Sindh reached Lahore, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif received him at the airport. Syed Qaim Ali Shah participated as chief guest in the horse and cattle show. He appreciated the efforts of the provincial Punjab government on successful holding of the horse and cattle show and lauded its standard.
