Swarovski, the world leader in cut crystal and fashion jewellery, has joined forces for the first time with the Pakistan Fashion Design Council (PFDC) to present Swarovski Crystal Couturiers, a unique high-fashion event to be held in Lahore on February 28.
Eight Pakistani designers - new to working with its crystals - were commissioned by Swarovski to produce an exclusive couture collection featuring the innovative use of Swarovski crystals. Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the PFDC's corporate social responsibility programme.
Swarovski is always determined to push creative boundaries and is fascinated to be working with Pakistani designers for the first time. This collaboration is especially exciting coming after Swarovski entered the Pakistan market last year, when it teamed up with Fifth Element Group, sister company to Fakhruddin & Co, as its official distribution partner in Karachi.-PR
