A new association has been established under the banner of Pakistan Chemical Manufacturers Association (PCMA) to resolve key issues of the importers, manufacturers and suppliers of chemicals in the country.
In this regard, an inaugural ceremony was held at the Head Office of PCMA in Lahore on Sunday. The ceremony was chaired by the nominated chairman, Muhammad Adrees, who is also the Chairman of FPCCI. Sponsor members, executive committee members and other representatives of the industry were present on the occasion.
Dua-e-Magfirat was also offered for Late Muhammad Saddiq, who was one of the founder members, who initiated the efforts towards forming a platform for the chemical industry.
The PCMA vowed to resolve issues of the chemical industry through this newly created forum, which would also keep in touch with all government departments and ministries.
Speaking on the occasion, Adrees expressed his well wishes for the future of the association and the chemical industry.
The office of the association was inaugurated by Muhammad Adrees. Later, Abrar Ahmed, nominated vice-chairman, speaking on the occasion showed his commitment to take up crucial issues with the tax authorities to facilitate chemical industry.
