The popular picture sharing site Instagram rolled out a new feature to its stories recently that allows people to ask questions and reply to people’s stories. However, this feature has created a little drama.
Many Instagram users took to Twitter, and shared their thoughts about the new feature. Users started comparing the new sticker to the global networking site ASKfm where users used to ask people questions, but anonymously.
In Instagram, however, the questions were not asked anonymously, but many people thought so, which caused a confusion between users. Some people thought the questions could be asked anonymously, when they discovered they couldn’t, they showed their frustration on social media site Twitter.
The 'ask me the question' in instagram is messed up. I post a question to my crush only to realise it wasn't anonymous anymore.

So I learned the new Instagram “ask me something” isn’t anonymous so I’m just going to delete my account now

Some users, however, wanted Instagram to make the feature anonymous.
instagram needs to get it together and let us ask anonymous questions so we can really get reckless.

Moreover, some people were pretty annoyed by the feature, since they said its all over Instagram Stories.
