To further strengthen the cordial ties between Republic of Austria and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and to develop the economic relations between the two countries, Austria has appointed Raja Babar Tajammul as Honorary Consul in Karachi and the Consulate Office in Karachi.
The Consulate was officially opened on March 1, at a function hosted by the Austrian Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Brigitta Blaha and the Honorary Consul Tajammul and his wife Tazeen Tajammul. The opening reception was followed by a musical performance by Renald Deppe, eminent clarinettist and saxophonist who came from Vienna for the occasion.-PR
