Attack on PTI workers condemned

Spokesperson for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Shereen Mazari, has strongly condemned the attack of Muttahida Qaumi Movement's workers on PTI's wworkers in Karachi on Tuesday MQM workers attacked PTI leader and a candidate from NA-246 bye-polls, Imran Ismail and workers with sticks and stones when they were inspecting preparations for a public meeting which will be held at Jinnah Ground, Azizabad.
She said in a statement that PTI would register an FIR against goons involved in the attack on PTI's workers.
Senior leader of PTI Shah Mahmood Qureshi also condemned attack on Imran Ismail's car by MQM goons. "It proves that MQM is operating in Karachi through politics of violence", he said in a message.
He said it was a democratic right of PTI to hold rally (Jalsa) at Jinnah Ground, adding nobody can stop PTI from holding rally on April 19.
Jehangir Tareen in a tweet message claimed that a change would also come in NA 246 on the pattern of Mirpur election. He hoped that Karachiites would break the shackles of fear and reject MQM-PPP partnership by voting for PTI in the by-elections on April 23.
