An equipment malfunction left Taylor Swift stuck in a basket during part of her performance at a concert in Philadelphia, after the sparkling basket she was riding in got stuck mid-air at Lincoln Financial Field.
A sparkly basket that was supposed to carry the performer over the crowd got stuck during her show when she was in the middle of the song ‘Delicate’, foreign media reported. “I am pretty sure I’m stuck up here,” she told fans. “It is a nice view, though,” she added.

The singer smartly handled the whole situation interacting with the crowd as there was no other way to communicate with her technical team. “So what you just saw was me going like straight up and down in this sparkly basket,” she explained candidly to her crowd as she remained stuck once the song had finished.
“It was supposed to take me to the other side of the stadium. So what happens now is basically I’m just chilling waiting to figure out what happens next,” she added. Eventually the stage crew was able to get her into a new basket and she continued the show.
Swift isn’t the first to have some issues with tour machinery lately. Beyoncé also had a problem with a flying stage malfunction earlier this month on her own ‘On the Run II Tour’ with Jay Z.
