The Punjab government on Tuesday moved Supreme Court against a Lahore High Court decision suspending the detention of Zaik-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, the alleged mastermind of Mumbai attacks. The provincial government filed the appeal in the Supreme Court's Lahore Registry. The law officer argued that the suspension might create problems for the government and also affect the investigation.
