Upward trend on grain market

An upward trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on Monday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Makai low type was down by Rs 60 to Rs 2500 while the best quality was unchanged at Rs 2575, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said.
On the grams side, grams Australia picked up Rs 100 to Rs 5500, grams Dall Australia also picked up the same amount to Rs 6100, grams 50x50 went up sharply by Rs 675, they said.
On the rice side, Irri-6 Sindh low variety was down by Rs 25 to Rs 3100, the good type lost the same amount to Rs 3125, they said. On the seeds side, Til small gained Rs 150 to Rs 4350, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low quality was up by Rs 75 to Rs 1725 and best type was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 1800, other items maintained overnight levels in the process of trading, they said.
