Continuing with the ad battle, Samsung is back at it again by attacking rival Apple and iPhone speeds openly in its new ad.
Samsung has always made fun of Apple in its ads openly targeting the smartphone manufacturer and its iPhones. Continuing the tradition, Samsung yet again mocked the rival’s iPhone X’s download speed.
Samsung openly slams Apple in its latest ad yet again
The 30-second-long ad named ‘Ingenius: Speed’ portrays a conversation between a woman named Rosie and an Apple salesperson inside an Apple Store. Rosie complains that the iPhone X doesn’t have the fastest download speeds and was supposed to be ‘the smartphone of the future’. The employee defends by saying that the phone is ‘faster than the iPhone 8’ to which Rosie says it’s still not faster than the Galaxy S9. This leaves the guy speechless and unable to respond.
According to Digital Trends, the South Korean has flaunted about obtaining its data from internet speed-test ‘Ookla’s Speedtest’, where average download speeds of all major LTE carriers are compared, as the basis for claiming Galaxy S9 as having the fastest download speeds. The report stated that the Galaxy S9, S9 Plus have speeds up to 37% faster than the iPhone X.
