Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) Chairman Abdul Wahid Aresar passed away at a private hospital here on Sunday. He was 65. The JSQM chief was suffering from kidney problems. He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital of the city for some time and breathed his last early Sunday morning.
Aresar was born on Oct 11, 1949. He played a key role in Sindhi nationalist politics. He became the JSQM chief after unifying all the separatist parties together. The JSQM chief was the only nationalist leader to have mend fences with Muttahida Qaumi Movement. His number of books on politics, history and other subjects were well received on national level.
