It has been a record breaking day at Bulawayo for Pakistan, as opener Fakhar Zaman became first double centurion for men in green in one-day international cricket.

He achieved this milestone during the fourth ODI against Zimbabwe. With this feat, he also became the country’s highest scorer in any ODI, surpassing Saeed Anwar’s 21-year old record of 194.

Thanks to his calculated inning, Pakistan also managed to score their highest ODI score 399/1. He was equally supported by Imamul Haq, who made 113, and Asif Ali’s 50.

The 28-year old left-handed batsman, who rose to global fame with a match-winning ton in Champions Trophy 2017 final against India, is the sixth batsman to score a double hundred in ODIs.
