Mercury touches 47c in Sindh, South Punjab, Balochistan

The interior Sindh, south Punjab and lower parts of Balochistan sizzled in hot and dry weather as the mercury touched 47 degree Celsius on Wednesday, the highest of the current summer season so far. The Meteorological department recorded maximum temperature at Dadu 47°C, Larkana, Moenjo daro, D.G.Khan 46°C, R.Y.Khan, Sibbi, Sukkur, Multan, Jacobabad, Lasbella, Rohri 45°C. The maximum temperature in Lahore was recorded 43.2C and minimum 25.4C Meanwhile weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country on Wednesday however, rain-thunderstorm occurred at one or two places in Malakand division and upper FATA.
