Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Chief, Siraj-ul-Haq has asked the government of Pakistan to play its full role in making negotiations between Afghan Taliban and Afghan President Dr Ashraf Ghani successful for peace in the region. The success of the negotiations will bring stability in the whole region including both Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Addressing a youth convention held under the auspices of Shabab-e-Milli, youth wing of JI in Dir Upper, he said that United States and her agents want anarchy in Muslim Ummah and had badly damaged Muslims in Yemen, Afghanistan and Iraq.
Besides, Senior Minister KP cabinet, Inayatullah Khan, JI parliamentary leader in National Assembly, Sahibzada Tariqullah, MPAs Mohammad Ali, Malik Behram, provincial naib ameer, Maulana Asadullah, district ameer, Sahibzada Safiullah and district president, Shabab-e-Milli, Rafiullah also addressed the convention.
He said that after coming into power JI will provide free medical treatment of the patients of five deadly diseases including Hepatitis C, cancer, cardiac, kidney and thalassemia while those with less monthly earning than Rs 3000/- per month will get subsidised flour, ghee, rice, pulses and sugar. He said that their real competition is with the agents of United States, which are serving her interest in the country.
The JI chief assured Saudi Arabia that the people of Pakistan will stand for the protection of the Kingdom in every critical juncture.
Regarding the success of the JI candidate in the by-election of PK-95, he said that the electorates of the constituency had not only voted their nominee, rather they had defeated the tri-party alliance.
He rejected the propaganda regarding not allowing women to cast their votes, which were not restricted or bar by anyone. However, he claimed that they will win in the polls of women as millions of mothers, daughters and sisters are supporting JI.
