KP Police arrest 369 suspects under NAP

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have rounded up 369 suspects and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition in the ongoing search and strike operation conducted under national action plan in the province. During the operation conducted in different parts of the province, the police recovered 32 arms and 267 ammunitions of different bore and 2-kilogram explosives material while 471 houses and 256 hotels were checked and 06 cases were registered against the violators.
Similarly, 269 suspects were held and 7 arms of different kind and 131 cartridges of different bore were also recovered during snap checking at 162 check points in the province.
Furthermore, 30 persons were detained on violation and 14 cases were registered against them in action against illegal Afghan refugee while 02 persons were arrested for misusing of laud speaker and 02 load speakers were seized and 04 cases were registered against the violators.
Security inspections of 715 educational institutions were also carried out and various institutions were advised to further beef up security arrangements.
