The Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif while meeting with Senator Muhammad Zafarullah Khan Dhandla, MNA Afzal Dhandla and MPA Ghazanfar Abbas Cheena, MPA Amir Anayat Shahani and MPA Inamullah Khan Niazi here on Monday has said that the strategy adopted by the PML-N government for the promotion of investment, economic, trade and industrial activities is yielding positive results.
Shahbaz said, "Terrorism and the shortage of electricity have caused a big loss to the country and education, health, agriculture, industry and other sectors have been badly affected. The government is taking all necessary measures to resolve all these issues."
He further said that national resources are being spent honestly only for the welfare and uplift of the masses. The PML-N government has served the people with sincerity for the past seven years and Daanish Schools, Aashiyana housing scheme, Metro bus, educational funds, self-employment scheme and other welfare projects are being implemented successfully and a large number of poor people are benefiting, he added.
He said, "Out of the investment agreements of $46 billion signed between China and Pakistan, $20 billion are for the energy projects. The historic economic package of China is of vital importance for the progress and prosperity of the masses and every effort will be made for the execution of the projects under this economic package."
