KP IGP suspends two sub-inspectors

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani has suspended two sub inspectors of Pabbi police station with immediate effect and ordered departmental enquiry against them. According to details a citizen of Banda Nabi, district Nowshera submitted an application to IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa wherein he alleged that during night time four unknown accused snatched his motorcycle, cash amount and a G-5 mobile set at gunpoint.
After the occurrence of the incident, he went to Pabbi police station and registered a report. He was told by Muharrar that his report is registered and in case of any progress he will be informed. After few days when accused were arrested, he was summoned to police station and his snatched mobile set was handed over to him and he was told that two days ago the accused have been sent to judicial lockup.
He alleged that FIR was not registered on his report which was his legal right and accused were released on bail. The IGP enquired the matter though DIG E&I who in his finding report stated that SI Behroz Khan and SI Isar Khan have deliberately avoided registration a case in a heinous case of robbery and thus the complainant was deprived of his legal right which resulted in release of arrested criminals.
