Sindh government fails to protect life and property of citizens: Jatoi

Federal Minister for Industries and Production Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi has said that though after 18th amendments, more authority and powers were devolved to the provinces, the performance of Sindh government was not satisfactory and even it failed in protecting the life and property of the citizens.
He was talking to media after a meeting with Central President Qaumi Awami Tahreek (QAT) Ayaz Latif Palejo, here on Sunday. During the meeting both the leaders discussed the prevailing political situation and national issues. He said that the Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was taking all measures to complete the ongoing operation in Karachi with desired results to make the city safe.
He said that the operation was being carried out without any discrimination and it would continue till elimination of all kinds of crimes.
He termed the Safoora incident as tragic saying that it should have not happened.
He said that the government could not provide jobs in public sector to every one and unemployment could be eradicated with industrialisation in the country. Federal Government was working on two power projects of 600 megawatts each at Thar where coal mined out from Thar would be used.
On the occasion, Palijo demanded that the perpetrators of terrorist attack on innocent Ismailis in Karachi should be arrested and brought to justice.
Federal and Sindh government should announce special package for Sindh, he demanded.
