PU VC praised for providing free education to Baloch students

Advisor to Balochistan Chief Minister on Education Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan Barreach has praised Vice Chancellor Doctor Mujahid Kamran for providing free education and residential facilities and monthly scholarship to Balochistani students. He said because of Dr Kamran's revolutionary steps Balochistani students had found an exceptional opportunity to get quality education at higher level in Pakistan's most prestigious Alma matter.
He told a delegation of the Balochistani students during his visit to the Punjab University at the committee room of vice chancellor's office, where PHEC Chairman Professor Dr Nizamuddin, PU VC Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran, Parliamentary Secretary Higher Education Punjab Mehwish Sultan, Senior Analyst Chaudhry Akram, Secretary Education Department Balochistan Abdul Saboor Kakkar, PU Acting Treasurer Rao Muhammad Sharif were also, present. He said that hundreds of thousands of children were deprived of education in Balochistan and the government wanted to get benefit from Punjab's model for introducing educational reforms in the province. He thanked Punjab Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for facilitating Balochistani students in Punjab.
PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran said that Balochistani students were full of talent. The students told the advisor that the facilities being provided to them by the Punjab University's administration were not being provided by any other university in Pakistan. They said that the Balochistani students who had completed their education from PU had got jobs in their province on their return.
