Air Marshal Muhammad Yousuf (Retd) Director General Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority conferred DG's Commendation Certificate on Tanveer Khan CAA Porter at a graceful ceremony at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Friday. An official of CAA told Business Recorder later that CAA Porter Tanveer Khan found a bag, few days back, in car parking area of the airport at midnight. The bag was stuffed with $9386 and visa Debit/Cards besides other valuables.
The official deposited the amount and handed over the bag to PFS Section which after hectic efforts found the contact of owner/passenger and handed over the amount and other belongings to Hameed Malik US Passport No 468526765 resident of Westridge Rawalpindi on May 18.
The passenger lauded the efforts of team and appreciated the honesty of Tanveer Khan. In recognition of meritorious services, DG CAA has awarded Commendation Certificates to CAA Porter Tanveer Khan with cash award of two basic pays. Mubarik Shah, Sr Joint Director and Mahtab Khan Field Supervisor Passenger's Facilitation Services were also awarded DG's Commendation Certificates in recognition of there dedicated team efforts. During his address, DG CAA appreciated the efforts of PFS team to portray such kind of honesty. It has improved the image of CAA manifold and earned good name for our country.
