The Directorate of Quality Enhancement Cell of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore organised a seminar on "Academic quality assurance for outcome-based education: challenges and prospects" here on Thursday. International corporate trainer and consultant head of Institute of Quality Pakistan Doctor Kamran Moosa and Dean Faculty of Bio-Sciences Professor Dr Habib-ur-Rehman co-chaired the opening session of the seminar.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Habib-ur-Rehman said that the aim of the seminar is to sensitise the people about quality assurance, management, Enhance the quality of education and skills. Later Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired the concluding session of the seminar and gave away shield to Dr Kamran Moosa. During the seminar Dr Kamran Moosa delivered a lecture on frameworks of outcome based and quality excellence in teaching, learning with vision of quality practices in education, quality assurance and management used internationally in academic processes curricula/exam and other aspect of education. Quality Enhancement Cell Director Dr Dawar Hameed Mughal, Professor Dr Sarwer Khan, students and faculty members were also present.
