Several Indian media outlets have been running commentaries and venomous comments against the cricketer-turned-politician. Imran's lead in the unofficial results seems to have caused an outcry among Indian media, as the neigbouring country seems to believe that Imran's victory can create serious problems for India.
A video clip from a talk show from Indian news channel Times Now shows the host terming Imran’s lead is very 'worrying' for Indian. “Imran Khan can make things difficult for India if his Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaaf (PTI) party manages to seal majority after the poll-verdict,” the anchor said.
“I am being told that there is a decisive lead that is being taken by Imran Khan, very worrying for India viewers,” the Times Now anchor added. The host further alleged that the PTI chief's only ambition is to ensure that 'India gets punished and he had been working on that mission from the beginning'.
